Questions about pricing

Do you take a percentage of my bookings?
No. We do not take a percentage of bookings or card payments. Your payment provider charges its own processing fee, the same as any card terminal. For an iPhone app, you also pay the Apple Developer annual membership fee directly to Apple, separately from BizAppMaker service fees.
Do I need to buy any hardware?
No POS system or printer. A tablet, phone or laptop with a web browser and Wi-Fi is all you need to see new orders and bookings. Switch on sounds in your console, then tap the screen once after opening it so the browser can play an alert for each new order or booking.
Where does the money from clients go?
Straight into your own account. We never hold your takings, so there is nothing for us to hold up or lose.
Do I need an Apple Developer account?
For an iPhone app, you need your own Apple Developer account. You pay its annual membership fee directly to Apple; it is not included in BizAppMaker service fees. Enrol, accept Apple's account terms and invite our team before production begins. We guide you through it. You can choose Google Play only instead, without an Apple Developer account or its membership fee.
Whose app is it?
Your business name, branding and clients are yours. The iPhone listing uses an Apple Developer account you control, while the app runs on BizAppMaker software through your subscription. We help prepare the store submissions.
What happens if a payment fails?
Nothing straight away. Your app keeps working and we email you. If we still cannot take payment after seven days it pauses, and it starts again the moment a payment goes through. Nothing is deleted either way.
What happens if I leave?
Bookings stop and we take the app down from the stores, so your clients see a notice rather than something broken. Your data is not deleted, and you can ask for an export of your client and booking list at any time — including on the way out.
I have two shops. Do I need two logins?
Yes. One account runs one app, so a second shop needs its own account with us. Each shop gets its own app, its own clients and its own numbers, and neither can see the other's.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, in either direction. Get in touch and we will move you across, and confirm how the change applies to your billing first. Moving up switches on the extra features straight away. Moving down hides them, but the data underneath is kept, so moving back brings everything with it.
